Regarding the IP-address problem: are you able to browse to http://www.wieistmeineip.de/ and see your external ip-address? Also, in what country do you live?

Hi, just installed TweetMyPC, and it's working well!

I have a couple of issues though:

When try and obtain my IP addresses, I only get back the internal one, and it says error/invalid for the external one. What do I have to do to make this work?
Can you add the minimise button to the application (and maybe make it minimise to the system tray), or make the close button configurable to either close or minimise to system tray? Several times I closed the app by mistake expecting this behaviour when I clicked on Close.
I also have a weird issue that sometimes when I try to open the app from the system tray, it refuses to appear on the screen. It seems as if it's running, but kind of "off the screen" somewhere and I can't seem to get it back, other than by shutting it down and restarting. I hope that makes sense.

I'm on Windows 7 with all the latest updates. If you need any further info from me, please let me know.

It's an excellent and useful application otherwise, thanks for making it and making it available.

also, what web browser do you use?

it looks like you are not allowed to open a website in the default web browser or that web browser can't be opened.

Can you please do the following to create a debug log for us, so we can see what is causing the problem?:

1. Create a empty text file on your desktop and call it TweetMyPCdebug.txt.
2. Open TweetMyPC and enter your login data
3. Now click at the Save&Hide button in TweetMyPC
4. close the error message and wait some time.
5. Now open the TweetMyPCdebug file at your desktop and copy+paste the debug log from there and post it here as a comment.

(If the file is empty, check if naming it just "TweetMyPCdebug" without the .txt and then redoing the steps helps)

With this help we should be able to identify+solve the problem quickly.

When I tryed to click Sign in to Twitter I get this error, infact I get this error when I pretty much click anything such as View Basic Commmand List etc..

Can you save setup.exe somewhere and then run it from command prompt.

1. Run -> CMD

2. Navigate to folder which contains the setup file

3. Run setup.exe

and tell us what happens.

I have already installed on another computer and it works just fine...i just dont know why it didnt work on my pc...

I hope you can find a solution to my problem...

but i tried to install the older version of tweetmypc and it was successful...but its not working anymore...that is why

yes, my windows update is always activated and every time i use my pc i always check for any updates..

im using my computer for my own...

i already installed all the necessary requirements to run the program, but still it wont work...

do you have windows update activated and all the newest updates installed?

Also, is this your home computer or from some big company?

You need .Net Framework 3.5 SP1 or better installed and your Windows 7 license needs to be valid.

I tried to open the setup.exe then, the verification showed up and then disappears.

But there was no tweetmypc or installation progress..

I am from the philippines and Im using Microsoft Win7, 32bit and i dont have any antivirus installed on my pc...
